Too Busy Feeding Sheep to Entertain Goats

“Too busy feeding sheep to entertain goats.” I know, kind of a quirky name for a new blog site, but if you know, you know; and it’s kinda where I am these days.

This is the place where I muse, think, ponder, consider –– and sometimes vent. There is so much going on our world today that it is easy to focus on things that might be irritating but lacking in consequence. I prefer to try not to go off chasing bunny trails that go nowhere but down a rabbit hole. Enjoy.

Viewing and analyzing today’s cultural, political, and spiritual challenges through a biblical lens, emphasizing Biblical truth and spiritual integrity is challenging, but we try. I welcome civil debate, spirited conversation, even healthy disagreements. I don’t fight, I don’t call people names, I don’t disrespect or denigrate those with whom I interact –– and I do not tolerate those things while standing in my yard. I am direct –– some say blunt –– but my goal is to never leave someone wondering where I stand; and what is of infinitely greater importance, where God stands on any issue. I don’t ask God to be on my side; I always strive to be on His side.
